Rodolfo Gonzalez and Tio Elinas will drive for Marussia at next week’s Young Driver Test at the Silverstone circuit the team has confirmed.
Tio Elinas’ opportunity comes as a reward for being the highest placed Manor GP3 driver during the 2012 season.
The Cypriot will run on the first day of the test, before handing over the car to Marussia reserve driver, Rodolfo Gonzalez.
Gonzalez, who has run in practice sessions for the team at Bahrain, Spain and last weekend in Germany, will run on day two and day three of the test.
Marussia have taken the decision to run Gonzalez and Elinas for all three days of the test, despite being able to run their race drivers on one of the days following Pirelli’s plan to introduce new tyres for Hungary.
