Around twenty trophies stolen in a burglary at Red Bull’s Milton Keynes factory earlier this month have been recovered from a lake, police have revealed.
Six men broke into Red Bull’s factory in the early hours of December 6, making off with more than 60 trophies.
Thames Valley police confirmed on Tuesday that around twenty of the stolen trophies had been found in Horseshoe Lake near Sandhurst on Monday, and have now been recovered by a specialist team.
“Some of the trophies were recovered from Horseshoe Lake near Sandhurst,” said police spokesperson.
“We estimate about 20 trophies have been recovered, but we are liaising with Red Bull to establish the exact number as some of the trophies are damaged.”
Thames Valley Police has urged anybody with any information regarding the stolen trophies to come forward.
