Ferrari has revealed that its 2015 Formula 1 car will be named the SF15-T.
The SF15-T is the successor to last year’s F14 T, which was named by fans of the team.
“The current year and the “T” for turbo combine in the name chosen by the people in Maranello,” reads a Ferrari statement. “New this year, apart from the graphics, is the “S” for Scuderia.”
The SF15-T will be officially unveiled on Friday, ahead of the first pre-season test at Jerez.
Sebastian Vettel will debut the team’s new car on the opening day of testing on Sunday, with Kimi Raikkonen set to drive on days three and four of the test.
