Nico Hulkenberg will debut Force India’s 2015 Formula 1 car – the VJM08 – on Friday in Barcelona.
The Silverstone-based team missed the opening test at Jerez, and ran its 2014 car at the second pre-season test, held at the Circuit de Catalunya.
Force India confirmed on Wednesday that its new car will arrive at the Spanish circuit on Friday, with the final build to take place in the morning.
Hulkenberg is scheduled to debut the car in the afternoon, before handing over to team-mate Sergio Perez on Saturday.
The German will be back behind the wheel for the final day of pre-season testing on Sunday.
If Force India does manage to complete its new car on schedule for Friday afternoon, it will have just two and a half days of running ahead of the 2015 curtain-raiser in Australia next month.
