Manor Marussia has confirmed that it has passed its final crash tests ahead of the 2015 season opening Australian Grand Prix.
The team, which exited administration last month thanks to fresh investment from OVO Energy boss Stephen Fitzpatrick, will race a revised version of its 2014 car in Melbourne, modified to meet the 2015 Technical Regulations, with a full 2015-specification car set to follow later this year.
“Our big news of today is that we have now passed the FIA crash tests. Well done team! That’s it – we’re all set for Melbourne!” read a statement released by the team via Twitter.
Manor is still yet to announce who will partner Will Stevens at the wheel of its revised car in Australia.
